PRIORITIES TO BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE

Andrew is seeking re-election to continue his efforts to build a brighter future for his daughters, and for all of Hawaii's children. He believes we can get there by focusing on the following:

EDUCATION

Investing in public education to mitigate learning loss from the pandemic, implementing universal preschool and supporting the University of Hawaii in its quest to become a world-class academic and research institution.

ETHICS

Imposing term limits for all legislative seats, prohibiting fundraising during the legislative session and tightening conflicts of interest policies.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Preserving our environment by accelerating the adoption of clean energy, incentivizing electric vehicle ownership and preparing now for climate change.

HEALTHCARE

Making healthcare a pillar of our economy by developing the workforce necessary to support our growing healthcare needs, including providing high quality to our kupuna and expanding caregiver support.

HOUSING

Investing in public infrastructure and utilizing available state lands to fast-track the construction of affordable housing for working class families.

ECONOMY

Reducing our over-reliance on tourism by planting the seeds of economic diversification to create careers that provide more than a living wage.
